Job Purpose
To perform and approve major/complex structural repairs and modifications, tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company procedures and within associated regulatory approvals.
Qualifications & Experience
Engineering.Maintenance Control : 8+ Years
Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) :
Experience in commercial aircraft maintenance environment with minimum 5 years of performing/approving/certifying structure repair works under a company/NAA regulatory approval. Knowledge/Skills: – Vocational / National / Higher National Diploma or Apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organisation. – OR Engineering Maintenance License UAE GCAA/ICAO Type II/EASA Part 66 license rated in B1.1, in addition to company approvals. – OR Holder of Emirates/Company structures approval and has completed additional OEM specialist training. – Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards. – Full fluency in English language, reading/writing/conversing.
